The Habbo 7/27 Tour is the second tour by girl group Fifth Harmony (@Habbo5H) presented by Republic Records and Eva Croft.
The stage was produced by stage designer Eva Croft (@habevacroft). It featured 5 podiums, two staircases on each side, and a huge backdrop for easily placed visuals that could coincide with each song. The stage also included lighting trusses on each side with a main truss in the middle to easily light up the stage as the girls performed. The tour was originally booked for indoor arenas, but tour manager Eva Croft decided to book outdoor amphitheatres for a more lively setting and easy population.
The Habbo 7/27 Tour is notable for many things and was a very risky tour due to the fact it included 5 different tributes as a group. Stage construction began in August 2016 and the design and production itself was very ahead of it's time. Many show and stage concepts originated during the initial creation of this tour and due to Eva Croft being so open with her ideas, these concepts weren't exactly stolen, but were exploited.
The initial stage production featured the first ever Habbo stage fans, stage equipment boxes, lighting trusses, and hanging lights. Eva Croft had taken inspiration for these concepts after she attended the tour in real life. Lighting was one of the biggest concepts Eva had to date and it wouldn't be possible without the help of Jamie Croft who brought her ideas to life. The Habbo 727 Tour's stage production was still moderate and kept up with today, but if it was hosted on it's original date in August 2016, stage production would be far more advanced today.
The tour was hosted on June 3rd 2017 on Habboon.com and included big songs from Fifth Harmony.
OFFICIAL TOUR REVIEW
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
In recent times, the dark skies of hatred and jealousy have been cast over a so called 'dying' industry. Yes, we are well aware of it, and so are you. However, leave it down to Fifth Harmony to clear the air. 3 time winners of 'Tribute of the Year', this girlband has gone leaps and bounds from their earlier predecessors, even the earliest Habbo version of The Saturdays and the 50 failed attempts to form anything close to a five-piece girl-group. Despite this being Camila's final performance with Fifth Harmony the quintet didn't fail to deliver last night on the first night (of hopefully many!) of the 7/27 tour. As the room slowly filled with loyal figures in the industry and regular Habboon players we must take into account that the majority of the room was in fact filled with real life Harmonizers who came on to witness the Habboon version of their beloved band. In our eyes, this is what makes the band so special. These 5 girls from their very first Reflection Tour date have been able to not only attract industry players but have their creativity be noticed by their 'Twitter Harmonizers' who manage to stay loyal supporting their shows and coming to meet & greets with them. This comes despite the differences the band has with many of their fellow industry players.

So the show started and we could not help but notice the structure and detail in the stage design. Eva really did outdo herself on this one! A life-like experience was brought as I entered the room. A curtain draped across the main body on the stage waiting to be pulled away for the entrance of Habboon's biggest tributing export. Ally, Camila, Dinah, Lauren and Normani walked up to the very top podium and their VMA performance song of 'That's My Girl' kicked off the show. One thing we must note is that despite the stage being devoid of almost any props (bar two side staircases and any 'gimmicks') the girls never fail to put on a professionally rehearsed show. Insiders tell us that the girls "rehearse their choreography for hours on end" and it is clear this is no word of a lie. The formations are always pulled of with such ease and they seem to get little credit for it! Ask yourself, could you conduct yourself and four other players to create several intricate movements while typing out song lyrics? Not that simple!

As the opening song finished we expected nothing less that their useful fun personality and professional attitude as they prepared for song 2 - 'Worth It'. Maybe it's just me - it probably is - but this performance did not serve the usual Fifth Harmony finesse of their others. Maybe it's the outdated song choice? Or maybe its the inert movement behind five golden mics? However, there was little dismal attitude towards it from the screaming fans, a sight uncommon in most festivals where people seem to be idling more. After this the girls headed off stage whilst a short interlude played on the pixelated back screen. A simple fire truck siren and some spoken word by DinahJaneHansen - nothing out-of-this-world during this interlude, yet we were left pretty starstruck!

The girls headed on stage accompanied by the set production of 5 ruby red chairs to perform the first song of 7/27 (the Japanese Deluxe Edition) 'Big Bad Wolf'. The song was clearly a fan favorite as the girls brought out a sultry edge alongside a red outfit change. This was my favorite performance of the whole show to be frank! The audience were involved and even without knowing the original lyrics were able to catch onto the hook of the song as the girls flipped their hair and served sex-appeal. From their the show seemed to descend from a spell-bounding experience to something of an afterthought. The brilliant lighting and simplistic background siren worked yet the girls couldn't resist bringing on a couple of beach balls and palm trees for 'All in my Head'. The performance not only seemed to lack the brilliant appearance of Mykki Milan but lacked coordination and Fifth Harmony's usual complexity in their performances as the girls stood like porcelain dolls waiting for the set to be put in, it was not my favorite and even I still find it hard to be critical of these girls!

Nevertheless, they redeemed themselves and delivered a high class concluding performance of their best single to date 'Work From Home'. We all remember the iconic GMA performance featuring Mykki Milan which classed this girl band as a tribute act to go down in history for their complex choreography. Again, no appearance from Mykki Milan but were we phased? Not in the slightest! The girls managed to leave us with the spark we had for them every time they performed this. From GMA to Wango Tango to now. The choreography remained impeccable and the show ended on a farewell to one of the fans favorite's CamilaCabello. If there's anything we could've wished more for is more 7/27 songs we haven't seen before (WHERE WAS SCARED OF HAPPY!!)This is a wish we know won't come true as the girls progress into their respective Camila and four-piece eras. Yet, We cannot wait for the next performance by both these acts!

Summary:
--------
7/27 tour showcased the girls ascension from their earliest Reflection Tour, not only by staging but by professional attitude. These girls haven't abandoned their light hearted nature, instead they have grown into mature members of the industry who easily deliver a show that many solo performers couldn't do, nevermind 3 or 5 people bands. In a time where the industry seems depleted of any good girlbands the 7/27 tour was a show that we won't forget and are certain that many girlbands won't be able to replicate on any retro. Not now and not in the years to come. We love you girls and can't wait for #DOWN and #CryingInTheClub
