The second tour date of the #HabboFormationTour by Beyonce (@BeyHabbo) took place on Habboon.com on Saturday, June 17, 2017. The stage was designed and produced by Eva Croft (@habevacroft) and Beyonce with additional sets by Jamie Croft (@habjxmie).

Overall Rating: 5/5

Beyoncé surprised us all by announcing a second date of her Formation tour - arguably the most successful tour in recent times. She managed to create hysteria as we scrambled for the VIP tickets on the Republic website, an absolute frenzy. This show brought together a dying industry and community to rejoice in the arrival of a tributing legend on stage. Beyoncé manages in this show to captivate an audience through songs she's never done before and we see this artist progress into leading a movement of precision and accuracy when conducting a show.

The show began with 'Formation'. The performance was dominated by pre-show starstrukism (Yes, I coined a phrase!). Never before have we seen a visual style, moving gif on a screen at a show. Until now. The rotating screen with Beyoncé flickering appeared before the Queen Bey herself appeared to before her smash hit 'Formation'. From this to the intricacy of Bow down Beyoncé served cohesive looks within her own style and with her dancers style, all these looks replicated the tour outfits to a T. Bey manages to be one of the only original acts that can make an audience unite and sing the lyrics together and this is what the first section of the show ultimately done, it brought everyone together in the appraisal of art, and this was damn mighty fine art.

Beyoncé then went on to perform the single that in my eyes pronounced her as the leading tribute act for early SIA and Republic 'Run the World' flames roared from the stage and in true Bey style we were left captivated and wanting more. this song and it's follower 'Baby Boy' only go to show that this tribute does not need to perform new material to keep an audience at bay, in fact quite the opposite. Beyoncé in my eyes, tries to make the experience as lifelike as possible and not only did the visuals of this show achieve this but the setlist backed up the point.

More on the visuals, throughout the show this was a poignant feature on the screens that caught our attention. These visuals were one of the best I've seen EVER. The poses were so simplistically lifelike? They didn't have to be 'all-this-all-that' it just had to be a pose of Bey coming out from a pixelated visual of Beyoncé with spread open legs. Either way, this show was topped off by the amazing visuals on the LED screen from the avatars themselves to the 'FLAWLESS' and 'WOKE UP LIKE THIS'. In the lingo of Habbooners... 'IT HAD MY WIG OFF!'

'Flawless' and 'Feeling Myself' were probably my favorite songs of the night. Beyoncé appeared in a golden, jagged colored outfit with the color aesthetics of the dancers matching, it was all very tumblresque and aesthetically pleasing! Beyoncé performed 'Flawless' in front of the visual screen where the audience blasted back the lyrics pasted on it. Yet again, this tribute has such impact. It's just words on a screen and she still manages to turn it into gold.

'Partition' followed as Bey appeared from out her loins it seemed with 2 of her dancers. (You'll understand this with reference to the pictures below) Beyoncé managed to deliver a sultry performance of a song. I personally know this tribute by having witnessed her perform it several times, yet this was the best. The repetitive dancer, Beyonce, dancer, visuals on the screen; gave a kind of 80's vibe or even a 'Blow' vibe from the 'BEYONCÉ' era. It was all pleasing to the eye.

The show progressed onto the slowed down version of 'Crazy In Love'. A replicated performance she had done once before on Habbo at her 'Made in America' show. Yet, looking back at that and this there is clear progression with this artist. As she appeared out with her dancers in a sexy ruby red outfit I could evidently see that on this stage she was the boss. During her MIA performance she was still developing her status but now, stood before us a legend. A legend that rose above and beyond quite literally out of the room ad box.

The show ended on 'Halo', a song I've never seen her sing live before. Heres the interesting thing, a ballad on Habbo is a no-no. They're boring and dry and last for ages and gets the audience in no movie for continuing to stay awake for this show, no matter the work that went into it. YET.. Bey twisted this around completely. When I've seen artists such as Mariah or MiaReddell or any other artist to be frank do a ballad, it's so un-engaging. Bey managed to get the audience involved and deliver a heartfelt message that felt like 'This is it, this is my last show' and god how I pray it is not because this show was my favorite in a LONG TIME.

Summary:

I'm going to keep this short and sweet, it was ***FLAWLESS. Bey proves that she manages to deliver yet another successful show and with amazing visuals, choreography and fashion design she managed to secure her legendary status in an industry which deems itself full of self-coined legends (No shade, just tea)
